Koperasi Nira Kamukten is a farmer-based cooperative from Indonesia, dedicated to producing natural coconut products while building sustainable partnerships with local farmers.
A Cooperative Built Around Farmers
Koperasi Nira Kamukten began as a farmer-led initiative in 2012 and was legally established as a cooperative in 2013. Since its early beginnings, the cooperative has focused on strengthening farmer organizations and supporting the welfare of coconut farmers.
Through collective action, Koperasi Nira Kamukten works to improve farmers’ access to agricultural resources, strengthen member services, and develop partnerships that support their livelihoods.
Our vision is to promote farmer independence and sovereignty by strengthening farmers’ access to and control over natural resources. This vision guides our commitment to building a stronger farming community through cooperation and sustainable agricultural practices.
